Welcome from David H. Abrams
Few things in life feel as good as hearing a court render a favorable judgement to victims of dishonest or abusive businesses. Equally wonderful is when a bankruptcy client lets me know that they are able to sleep through the night. When the debt collector calls have stopped and the weight of unmanageable debt has been lifted, they again have hope for the future.
Justice is about more than money: it’s also about restoring dignity to a person who has wrongfully suffered from the misdeeds or unlawful behavior of another. When justice happens, it feels good.
Since entering private practice in 2004, I have fought to protect the economic rights and well-being of individuals and families. As a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, I have pledged to never represent any business in a matter adverse to a consumer. This fight has taken me many places ranging from small claims court to federal court, appellate courts and bankruptcy courts. It has also taken many forms. I have represented small individual claims as well as large statewide class action lawsuits.
