Attorney Sarah Mian’s interest in immigration law stems from world travel, personal experience and as a child of immigrants. She grew up in Japan and lived there for 16 years before moving to the United States. After graduating magna cum laude from Santa Clara University in California with a degree in Political Science and a minor in History, Attorney Mian went on to earn her Juris Doctor with Honors from Concord Law School now part of Purdue University Global.
Her multi-cultural background has taught her the true meaning of diversity in the United States. Besides speaking English, Ms. Mian is also speaks and comprehends Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi as well as conversational Japanese, enabling her to serve many people who would otherwise have difficulties in communicating their legal needs. She has traveled the world and lived in three countries.
She interned for The Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center in San Jose before becoming a member of the State Bar of California. There, she gained exposure to a diverse array of legal circumstances, including immigration related cases, gaining crucial experience that led her to the decision to practice immigration and nationality law before the U.S. government. Subsequently, Attorney Mian passed the Florida Bar and became a member of the State Bar of Florida.
